The Ministry of Health, Wellness and Elderly Affairs of St Lucia in collaboration with the Caribbean Med Labs Foundation (CMLF) with support from the OECS Regional Health Project (World Bank) is conducting a Stakeholder Consultation to Review the National Laboratory Policy, Legislation and Regulations in St. Lucia on19 & 20 October, 2023.
The objectives of the consultation are:
- To sensitize Key Laboratory Stakeholders to the context for the introduction of the National Laboratory Policy and Legislation and the rationale for the regulation of the medical and public health laboratory sector in St. Lucia.
- To introduce, review and obtain stakeholder feedback on the National Laboratory Policy, proposed Medical Laboratories Act, and Medical Laboratories Regulations, for St. Lucia.
