The Caribbean Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (CLAS) is being established as a Secretariat within the CARICOM Regional Organisation for Standards and Quality (CROSQ) to co-ordinate regional accreditation mechanism. CLAS’ accreditation function will be facilitated through regionally endorsed accreditation provided by Trinidad and Tobago Laboratory Accreditation Service (TTLABS) and Jamaica National Agency for Accreditation (JANAAC). CLAS is responsible for maintaining a network of trained National Accreditation Focal Points (NAFPs) and assessors.
